The mid-size SUV Derways Aurora (internal factory index "313150"), built on the basis of the model of the Chinese company Liaoning Shuguang Automotive, was first presented to a wide audience in April 2006 at the international show "Automobile World" in St. Petersburg, and in June of the same year entered serial production.
Soon after that, the five-door underwent minor modernization, having received improvements in the exterior and interior, but already in 2008 it left the assembly line.
"Aurora" performs in the class of mid-size SUVs and has the corresponding dimensions: 4785 mm in length, 1880 mm in height and 1770 mm in width.
A base length of 2450 mm fits between the wheelsets of the car, and under the bottom there is a 220 mm ground clearance.
In the equipped state, the five-door weighs 1850 kg, and its gross weight only slightly does not reach 2.5 tons.
Specifications. In Russia, Derways 313150 Aurora meets one gasoline engine - this is an atmospheric in-line "four" Mitsubishi G64S4 with a working volume of 2.4 liters with a distributed "power" and a 16-valve timing arrangement, producing 126 horsepower at 5250 rpm and 190 Nm of peak torque at 2800 rpm.
The engine is mated to a 5-speed "mechanics" and an all-wheel drive transmission with a hard-starting front axle and a self-locking rear differential.
In "driving" disciplines "Aurora" shows good results: from one place to the first "hundred" it accelerates after 13 seconds, maximum gains 160 km / h and "drinks" no more than 13 liters of fuel in mixed mode.
The angles of entry and exit for an SUV are 33 and 24 degrees, respectively, and the angle of longitudinal cross-country ability reaches 24 degrees.
At the heart of the Derways Aurora is a ladder-type frame structure on which the power unit is longitudinally fixed.
On the front axle of the car, an independent torsion bar suspension with four levers and a hydraulic shock absorber is used, and in the rear there is a dependent system suspended on springs (“in a circle” - with transverse stabilizers).
The SUV is equipped with a rack and pinion steering gear, which is equipped with a hydraulic booster.
At the front, the five-door has ventilated disc brakes, and at the rear - drum devices (in all versions, except for the base one - with ABS).
The advantages of the car are: reliable construction, affordable maintenance, spacious interior, excellent cross-country ability, large trunk, good driving characteristics and durable suspension.
The owners often refer to the disadvantages of an SUV: poor build quality, high fuel consumption, stiff suspension and poor corrosion resistance of the body.
Prices. In the secondary market of Russia in 2017, "Aurora" can be purchased at a price of ~ 200 thousand rubles.
