The cargo-passenger version of the SEAT Ibiza of the fourth incarnation with the prefix "ST" (Sport Tourer), which became the third representative of the "subcompact family" of the Spanish automaker, celebrated its world premiere in March 2010 at the Geneva Bridal Show.

At the beginning of 2012, the station wagon went through an update, visually and technically, and in the spring of 2015 it was modernized again - the exterior and interior were slightly revised, and the power range was also finalized.

The exterior of the SEAT Ibiza ST is designed in a similar vein to the hatchback of the same name - the outside of the car is also beautiful and assembled, but due to the "universal" rear end, it is noticeably more harmonious.

The cargo-and-passenger version of the Ibiza fits into the B-class concepts in terms of its dimensions: 4236 mm in length, 1445 mm in height and 1693 mm in width. The wheelbase of the car is 2469 mm of the total length.

Inside, the SEAT Ibiza ST completely repeats the hatchback - a nice and thoughtful design, good finishing materials, careful assembly, comfortable front seats and a cramped rear sofa.

But with the cargo capacity, things are much better for him - in the luggage compartment of the station wagon, you can load from 430 to 1164 liters of luggage, depending on the position of the second row of seats.

Specifications. Power palette "Ibiza" in a universal design does not differ from that of the hatch. The car is equipped with gasoline three- and four-cylinder "aspirated" and turbo engines with a volume of 1.0-1.4 liters, which have 75-150 horsepower and 95-250 Nm of peak torque, as well as four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines of 1.4 liters, the performance of which is 75-105 " heads "and 210-250 Nm of torque.
The motors are accompanied by a 5- or 6-speed "mechanics" and a front-wheel drive transmission, and some of them are separated by a 7-speed "robot" DSG.

In agility, the SEAT Ibiza ST is inferior to the hatch from 0.2 to 0.5 seconds, depending on the version, but in terms of speed capabilities and fuel efficiency it copies it.

Structurally, the cargo-and-passenger version of Ibiza is completely identical to its “brother”: the wheels are attached to the front-wheel drive platform PQ25 by means of MacPherson struts in front and a semi-independent H-beam at the rear, the steering is aggregated by an electro-hydraulic booster, and all wheels are equipped with disc brakes with electronic assistants.

Complete set and prices. On the Russian market, the SEAT Ibiza station wagon is not officially presented, but in the countries of the Old World it is quite in demand. In Spain, the 2016 car is available at a price of 14,410 euros, and by default it is equipped with the same equipment as the "fellow" in the hatchback body.
